blacklight comp

It was worth the drive all the way down to Tacoma with nothing to entertain yourself in the car. When we got there, we must have made great timing because we got there at 3: 39, and you didn't even start blacklight climbing 'till 5:00. Rules where supposed to be at half an hour before you the comp started, but they ended up being ten minutes before the U.V. lights went on.

After I warmed up, my dad did the bones on my face and arms with a fluorescent HI-LITER, so my arms and legs glow when the U.V. light touched them. It looked so cool. Tony went around looking for VW kids that wanted Tony to write V on one cheek, and W on the other. At least 3/4 of all the VW kids had Tny do that The people who set the routes also painted the holds, and some guys even put blinking lights in them!
