From Wikipedia:
Sisu is a Finnish term translated into English as strength of will, determination, perseverance, and acting rationally in the face of adversity. Sisu has a long-term element in it; it is not momentary courage, but the ability to sustain it.
Sisu relates to climbing because you need all the things that Sisumeans to be a good, successful climber. I am writing about this because i am 1/4 finnish on my dad's side.
